Think of the last job you applied to. The last movie or concert ticket you bought online. Or maybe just the most recent website you went on.
What do all of these common? Your interest, sure. Attention is everything.
What I’m really talking about is somewhere on each of those websites, the iconic outline of a Polaroid camera makes its debut to your eyes. Yes, the holiest of holiest social media platforms for influencers– Instagram.
Whether you like it or not, social media – including Instagram – is here to stay. At first, Instagram was known for its personal use – a look inside each user’s life and interests. But now, businesses not only want your money, but your absolute divided attention even when you are aimlessly scrolling your Instagram newsfeed. And if these businesses do it correctly, they will have your attention. As of April 2019, the U.S. has over 110 million users. Just imagine how many potential clients can learn about and utilize your business – all at the tips of their fingers.
Convinced to give it a try but not really sure where to start? No worries!
I know all this advice can sound overwhelming, but I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be this way. Sticking to simplicity, I created the Badass Business Beginner’s Guide to Instagram. My guide tells you just five simple steps to follow to take your Instagram to a whole new level of professional badass. On top of this advice, I also include a list of apps that coincide great with what you are looking to achieve through your business profile. Whether it’s trying to find that perfect template to compliment your brand aesthetic or editing out some blemishes (let’s be real, we’re all guilty of doing this) odds are at least one app I recommend you will end up loving!
You may ask yourself – why trust me? I was able to build not one, but two businesses from Instagram. I started my blog in 2015 on street wear and fashion, and from then on continued to build my brand from the ground up. I went through hell and back when my account was hacked last year, losing everything I created.
But you know what they say, what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. Fast forward to the present, and I have turned my brand from fashion blogger to Instagram strategist.
You may not know it, but all of the tools you need to create a digital brand for your business are at the tips of your fingers. And it’s for you to decide how you’re going to do it.
Have a wonderful week!
