I always talk about the importance of being consistent on Instagram to see growth, but I also understand that all of us have a life outside the gram’! It can be frustrating trying to post every day, upload stories, use hashtags and engage. I totally get it.

But now with these smart Instagram scheduling tools you can save your time and still show up to your followers even when you are super busy because your kid is sick or you have a big project at work.

There are lots of Instagram scheduling tools out there, but I like to simplify things – and I’m sure you do too!

The tools I recommend below are either the tools I use it myself or recommendations from other social media strategists that also use and see great results with them. They are all user friendly and reliable.

Check them all out and pick your favorite, but keep in mind you need an Instagram/Facebook business account to set automated posts.

1. Tailwind

I was introduced to Tailwind by my friend and Pinterest Manager, Melanie Fountain. I cannot believe I didn’t use this earlier! It’s super easy!

You are able to drag and drop your pictures, see which hashtags are recommended for your niche and post through the hashtags recommendation feature, plus Tailwind has a free app!

Tailwind even has a smart calendar lets you see what’s the best times of the day to post – super helpful!  Aaaand the cherry on the cake: Tailwind is an Instagram official partner. 

I also like that Tailwind gives you a report where you can check your follower growth and engagement. I cannot recommend it enough! You can use the free version for up to 30 posts per month, or you can upgrade for additional features.

2. Later.

Later is the preferred scheduling tool for many social media managers. It focuses on the visual aspect of the platform and it’s also user-friendly with the drag-and-drop feature.

Later also let you schedule stories, which is great if you need to automate everything. It also provides analytics of your account and recommends optimal posting times through their smart calendar feature.

Like Tailwind, it’s an official Instagram partner and you can try it out for free. 

3. Hootsuite.

Hootsuite is great if you manage more than one social media platform and want to do most of the work from a computer. It has streams where you keep all your social media platforms in one page.

The major benefit is that you can engage with your followers directly from Hootsuite. You can try it free for the first 30 days!

Using one of these tools will help a lot with time management and being more consistent on Instagram.
